Marta Cohn-Servos, a woman so brave,
Born in Germany, she fled to the Netherlands to save
Her life from the horrors of Nazi rule,
But her fate was still cruel.
Deported to Westerbork, then Auschwitz too,
She was taken from her home, her life, and all she knew.
Her husband Max Rudolf, taken as well,
Their love and their lives, a tragic tale to tell.
On September 3, 1942, Marta met her end,
But her memory lives on, as a brave woman, wife, and friend.
A struikelsteen bears her name, in Eindhoven to this day,
Her life, her love, her story, we honor and convey.
